We just got home from one of those exhausting days where you have to get shed loads of little things done which are doubly exhausting especially when you’ve been on the beach in the morning and you have the feeling of a nasty cold on its way - probably caught from the insanely stupid woman in a hospital waiting room the day before yesterday who was coughing and spluttering all over the place and enhancing the healthy spread of germs with the aid of a paper fan: I’m sure we were all liberally coated - and I just wanted half an hour of peace before it all started again and I had either to feed the little sods/dears or get them back in the car and go out again.
