the view

Well, kind of, anyway.  I seem, at least, to have made a dent in the stupid book mountain.

It WILL be worth all the effort, though.  This is the view from my bedroom window.

Definitely looks like it's worth it! Such a beautiful spot, and I'm sure there are plenty of other fringe benefits!
Hope you get a new burst of energy to finish the move!

i am sure this view has given you a much needed boost at the end of each day to keep you sane and going back for more (as sane as you can be to be lugging thousands of somebody else's books up and down the N10). This was just a very quick peek, i have been behaving myself.

Blimey! The gasometer has gone! And I see you've managed to crop out the social housing tower blocks and the powerstation cooling towers on the right - ah, and fill in the middleground to the horizon using the new "add trees' function - nice job... good work on the roof of the smack hostel too, the choice of colours is very convincing, it really does look like terracotta and makes it totally feel like southern europe, even the glow on the roof from the sun bouncing off on the chimey - impressive! ...but perhaps a little more use of the 'sharpen image' on the actual "horizon with mountains" plugin thing... other than that looks great... and of course the brilliant thing is that nobody, and I mean nobody, would ever think the original image was taken from New Cross station looking towards Camberwell.

That beta you have of iLIfe X really is the gnats chuff - innit - not password protected I take it?

Let me know if I can have a copy.

a note to newcomers

However you have found this brain dump of mine please note that:
a. this is a blog.  It is a bit of fun.  It is written on a certain day then left behind, I never go back and edit... ANYTHING.
b. before you take it upon yourself to tell me off for being misanthropic and awful, first, remember you might be missing something in my ridiculous writing, second, stop going out of your way to be offended and go and find some mermaids and fluffy things to look at.
c. then again, if you're moved to express your contempt of me, then good... at least I have moved you to SOMETHING.
d. that is all.
